Dual Core Tegra2 Android vs iPhone 4

Fasten your seat belts for the faster and smarter smartphones that would go dual core in year 2011.

LG Star would be the first android phone with Nvidia Tegra2 dual core processor clocked at 1Ghz x 2. The UI on this phone is much like the Samsung Galaxy S, but the most interesting part of this phone is its dual-core processor.

GSM Israel has got the first handson video for the LGP990 (aka the Star) compared side-by-side with an iPhone 4.

The handset is powered by a 4-inch display and 8MP camera, as well as a front-facing counterpart and an HDMI port. At this time its running on a non-optimized Android Froyo, and is expected to improve speeds with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which would be optimized for dual core Tegra2 processors.
